Jesus tells us to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel." We are all on the "mission field" everday. The Lord has us go into many different places and situations. Whether that is our work place or at home, we are all, as believers in Christ, on the mission field. That being said, at times, the Lord will call us to another place. Maybe it's a place the Lord has put on your heart for many years but you just haven't ever considered or been presented with the opportunity to go to that place and allow the Spirit to work through you, shining the Lord's light.
Cross to Light is a gospel message ministry that sends the gospel forth by radio, media distribution and people. Through Cross to Light teams go out to evangelize, help a church plant and are living testimonies in places all over the world.
Partner with us as we "go into all the world to preach the gospel". We appreciate your prayers and donations. Consider also, if the Lord is leading you to join us on a mission trip. As you step out in faith, you will be amazed at what the Lord will do.

How to Get My Passport
Unless you are going on a mission trip within the United States, you will need your passport. If you do not currently have a valid passport you need to initiate that process as soon as possible. Although there is plenty of time, it can take several weeks to be issued and receive your passport; don’t wait until the last minute. You can go to the U.S. government website at http://travel.state.gov for passport information. You can also go to your local post office.
Check the Expiry Date of Your Passport
A passport valid for six months beyond the duration of stay, an onward or return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds are required for entry.
Per the Travel.State.Gov website; if you have a current and effective passport at the time of travel, but it will be expiring WITHIN SIX MONTHS of the trip YOU WILL NEED TO RENEW YOUR PASSPORT.
American citizens are required to obtain a visa before traveling to certain places like Brazil. For instructions on how to get your Visa please visit the Consulate General of the country you will be traveling to to check to see if you will need a Visa.
It is a good idea to check the weather of the location you will be traveling to. This will help you prepare for what type of clothing you should pack.
You can monitor the exchange rate of the dollar at website's like this one: eXchangeRate.com. You will want to bring your spending money and exchange it at the airport in case you will not be staying in a major city. We typically suggest you bring at least $300 US dollars for a two week mission trip.
When packing consider the expected weather conditions and be sure to bring items such as , sun block, sunglasses, backpack, and mosquito repellant. Consider what type of electrical outlets will be available as this impacts all of your electrical devices such as your cell phone charger.
You will be allowed one checked bag and one carry on.
