It's not by might, not by power but by His Spirit says the Lord.

Cross to Light all started when Pastor Mendoza, of Living Water Christian Fellowship, asked Brian McDaniel to do a gospel message on his weekly radio station which broadcast on 99.5 KKLA Los Angeles, California.

After the broadcast we provided a phone number to call in for prayer that had been offered by one of our good friends, Jim Utterback. We all gathered around the phones to see if any one
of you would respond to the Gospel Message. It was exciting to hear the phones ring.

We were so excited to see people come to the Lord in response to the message, that we asked KKLA if they would continue to air the Gospel messages on a weekly basis. After much prayer they approved the request and we were up and running.

Our next challenge was what would we call the ministry? Everyone started thinking and praying about a name. Our good friend was looking at a picture of the evening sun going down over the water. He started to notice a cross in the middle of the picture. After closely looking at the picture he visualized a bridge going from the cross to the light, and the Lord gave him the name Cross to Light.

We started to record right away. The response has been very good and by the grace of God we are on over 40 stations across to United States. We just translated some of the Gospel messages into Spanish for two stations in Mexico, and one in Nicaragua .

We now have six operators who take calls around the clock in response to radio listeners for the purpose of meeting requests, prayer, encouragement and biblical counsel. Our goal is to get the Gospel message out in these last days on as many radio stations as possible. People call and request free Gospel messages to send to lost friends and family members. Cross to Light meets these requests free of charge..

We thank the Lord Jesus and praise Him for what He is doing and are excited to see what He is going to do next.
